Dr Aleksandar Godic

Consultant Dermatologist, MD, PhD

I am a consultant dermatologist based in London, UK. I was a Clinical Director at the prestigious Harley Street Dermatology Clinic.

I graduated in 1996 from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia and obtained a Doctor of Medicine Degree (MD). I completed a Master of Science (MSc) in 1997 and training in dermatovenereology in 2001. In 2004 I obtained PhD in molecular genetics. I spent one year of postdoctoral fellowship in dermatopathology in the USA. I had additional training in dermatology at the Department of Dermatology, Yale University, USA, and hold the European Board Certificate in Dermatopathology. I am an Associate Professor of Dermatovenereology at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia.

I am also an Editor of the Acta Dermatovenerologica Alpina, Pannonica et Adriatica and an Associate Editor of Clinical and Experimental Dermatology.

I’ve published numerous papers in peer-reviewed high impact factor journals. My special interests include general dermatology, hair disorders, skin surgery, and aesthetic dermatology. I am passionate about stem cell treatment in aesthetic medicine, which is also my main research interest among others.

I am a regular invited speaker at international conferences and well recognised in the dermatology community.
